No trace of the 70-year-old man, the German passenger who disappeared on Sunday morning, December 1, aboard the Moby Tommy, during the crossing Porto Torres-Genoa. The search was started once they arrived at the Ligurian port. During the control operations on the ferry, searched four times, a note was found that suggested the intention to commit an extreme act.

A detail that immediately triggered searches and investigations by the competent authorities. The firefighters and the men of the Port Authority of Genoa began a thorough search both inside the ferry and in the surrounding waters. In addition to the ticket, the man's personal effects, such as his clothes and cell phone, were found in the cabin.

The police, together with the border police, examined the surveillance camera recordings to verify whether the man had left the ship once it docked. The last sighting of the man, around 7, when the crew saw him on the ship. The search operations at sea had been suspended due to the rough seas and darkness. Yesterday evening the ship set off again regularly and this morning the search activities resumed but still without results.
