A new event in the Miss Universe pageant on the island: the event organized by Alessia Ghisoni and Cinzia Murgia, wedding entrepreneurs and the only holders of the Miss Universe title for Sardinia, arrives in Pula.

See you tomorrow, Friday, July 25th at 9 pm in Piazza del Popolo, where the creations of the Modolo tailoring shop will also be on the catwalk.

"Our Miss Universe is a pageant of international importance that represents shared values such as equality, the promotion of the territory, culture, and traditions, but also, and above all, the valorization of all women and all those who, for one reason or another, represent physical or cultural diversity," say Murgia and Ghisoni. Starting this year, the beauty pageant, founded in the United States in 1952, aims to break down barriers to bring the value of social inclusion to the catwalk and the streets. The beauty of the girls on stage, the most evocative locations of one of the island's most important tourist destinations: enhancing the Pula stage, the dresses of the Modolo tailoring company, which will return to the catwalk a year and a half after the passing of its founder. Hosting will once again be Anthony Peth, supported by Luciana Ledda, a LIS (sign language) interpreter, who will co-host and provide simultaneous translation.

Walter Cabasino, mayor of Pula, is ready to welcome this important event: "Our town is increasingly becoming a hub for important exhibitions of sartorial excellence. These garments embody our history, our culture, and our identity. One merit of the fashion show's organizers is their ability to combine moments of relaxation and recreation with themes related to inclusion."
Donatella Fa, Councilor for Tourism, sees Miss Universe as an important showcase for Pula: "These events are particularly important from a tourism perspective as they promote the region, our excellence, our culture, and our traditions in a completely different way."

Paolo Trudu, president of Proloco, explains how the event embodies the spirit of his association: "Miss Universe is a real opportunity for us, giving us the chance to showcase and convey these goals in an elegant and tasteful way." From Sartoria Modolo, they preview what the Pula audience can expect: "Shortly after the passing of our great maestro, we have chosen to participate, along with his heirs, in one of the most important pageants that valorize and provide opportunities for young women. As always, we will bring to the catwalk what best represents us: the tradition, humility, and elegance of our land."
