Just over a million and a half. To be precise, 1.
523.508 ,16 euros. These are the funds from the Ministry of Defense that the Region has distributed, by resolution, among the Municipalities on which military easements weigh most, "negatively and substantially impacting the economic development of the territories". Sardinia is the beneficiary of 56.02% of the entire annual allocation paid to the Regions by the State. The municipalities receiving the contribution fall into four macro-areas, identified through a 2007 council resolution: La Maddalena, Capo Frasca Range - Decimomannu Airport, Salto di Quirra-Capo San Lorenzo Range and Capo Teulada Range.
Each of the macro-areas has been assigned a share of the allocation, based on the degree of impact of the constraints. Specifically, La Maddalena will receive 16% (equal to 243,761.31 euros), 25% will go to the area of the Capo Frasca-Decimomannu Airport polygon (380,877.04 euros), 40% to that of the Salto di Quirra-Capo San Lorenzo polygon, (609,403.26 euros), while the remaining 19%, or 289,466.55 euros, will be paid to the area of the Capo Teulada polygon.
Considering that within the macro-areas, apart from La Maddalena, there are more municipalities, a further division was made, always in relation to the share of subjugated territory and the incidence of military activities carried out, as well as on the basis of the socio-economic situation, including among the parameters also the demographic trend.
From this it follows that of the total resources allocated to Capo Frasca - Decimomannu Airport, the Municipalities of Arbus and Villasor will receive 40% each (152,350.82 euros), Decimomannu, instead, 20% (76,175.40 euros). As regards Salto di Quirra - Capo San Lorenzo, the Municipality of Villaputzu will have 40% (243,761.30 euros), Perdasdefogu 25% (152,350.82 euros), Villagrande Strisaili 20% (121,880.65 euros), Ulassai 15% (91,410.49 euros). Finally, the contribution assigned to the Capo Teulada area will be divided between the Municipality of Teulada, which will receive 84% (243,151.90 euros), and that of Sant'Anna Arresi, which will have the remaining 16%, equal to 46,314.65 euros.
The beneficiary municipalities will have to use the resources for the construction of public works and social services.
