The Olympic Flame of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Games will also stop in Cagliari and Nuoro.
The Organizing Committee of the next Italian Games announced this during the event presenting the itineraries of the journey of the Olympic and Paralympic Flame, which will cross the country celebrating the Italian spirit and uniting, with the passage of each individual torchbearer, the territories and local communities in a moment of extraordinary national celebration.
The appointment in Cagliari is set for December 14, 2025. In Sardinia the Flame will also touch the city of Nuoro and then set off again towards Palermo.
Each day of the relay will end with the lighting of the brazier, a moment of celebration and participation that marks the culmination of the activities also with musical shows, experiences and artistic performances.
