Five thousand square meters of Sardinian territory in smoke due to two fires, due to circumstances under investigation, in the Municipality of Bottidda and that of Carbonia on the day of August 15th .

In both cases, in addition to the fire-fighting teams coordinated by the Forestry Corps, the air vehicles also took off.

In Bottidda the flames developed in the Campone area , covering an area of about 4,000 square meters of Mediterranean scrub and pasture. The fire was extinguished with the help of a helicopter that took off from the Anela base.

Another thousand square meters of scrub and a burning reed bed in Carbonia, in the Case S'ortu de is Braus area . In this case, in support of the men on the ground, a helicopter took off from the Marganai base.
