For some time the citizens of Masullas no longer receive mail at home.

An inconvenience with which the center of Marmilla has to deal with, where the Post Office is present but, apparently, not the postmen. In fact, for some time now, the inhabitants have been complaining about the non-receipt of the mail. To give voice to the discomfort of the community is the mayor Ennio Vacca.

“For over a month – confirms Vacca – no mail has been delivered. Numerous citizens have not received letters, notices, bills. We too as a Municipality have sent priority mail to citizens, but it never arrived at its destination". A situation that has been going on for several weeks, but the situation does not seem to have changed. “I reported the problem – continues the mayor – but the situation does not get resolved. I sent a communication, still no response. There is a post office in Masullas, but no mail is delivered”. Correspondence not delivered, which, consequently, remains in storage at the Terralba office, to which the Masullas counter refers, with relative inconvenience for users who have to collect it. “I am thinking above all of the elderly – comments Vacca – and of those who have difficulty going to collect the mail. There are those who have received or are facing fines because they have not received bills, utilities or communications”. In the coming days, the mayor will send a new communication to the Post Office, in which the request will be clear. “We ask – he concludes – that the service be restored and the mail be delivered in normal times. It is not correct that there is no service, especially for the elderly who do not have the possibility to move".
