Over 200 Sardinian students and about thirty Piedmontese boys in Sardinian history lessons, for a junior master on nuragic civilization organized by the association "Sardinia towards Unesco".

For the participants, all third, fourth and fifth year high school students from all over the island, organized courses in history, anthropology and genetics, marketing: practical lessons but also visits to the monuments.

"The special passion with which the students followed the lessons of the master", explained the president of the association, Pierpaolo Vargiu, "is a testimony of how strong the desire is to study the deep roots of our identity , discovering together the great added value they can have for the take-off of a new model of sustainable economic development. The 'Sardegna brand' based on the identity of the island, can make our land and its products known to the world ".

Today the ceremony of the participants in the headquarters of the Foundation of Sardinia, in Cagliari .

Among the promoters of the initiative, the Foundation and the Banco di Sardegna, together with the regional school management and the regional department of public education.

"The enhancement of our archaeological heritage represents an opportunity for sustainable and lasting growth for Sardinia - highlighted the president of the Giacomo Spissu Foundation - and as an institution we pay particular attention to the issues of education and training for our young people".
