Saponified human remains were found today in the sea in Marina di Arbus, in the Portu Maga area.

As far as we know, the discovery was made by some fishermen, who immediately raised the alarm.

The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Villacidro intervened on the spot.

The corpse, in an advanced state of decomposition, was taken to the Monserrato Polyclinic where an attempt will be made to obtain its DNA, which will not be easy given that the body was partially dismembered by the fish. It is also difficult to trace the date of death and the sex of the victim.

Due to the saponification (the body would have remained in the sea for days and days) it has not yet been possible to even detect the color of the skin.
