The Municipal Council of Maracalagonis has been reset by order of the mayor Francesca Fadda. For a few hours now, therefore, the vice Antonio Melis, Ennio Fogli, Francesco Pinna and Martina Mulliri members of the executive, have lost their positions.

Paola Corona, councilor for public education, has resigned: she should be replaced by Elio Ghironi . The mayor is already working to recompose the new executive by the beginning of next week.

"There is a need - said Fadda - for an acceleration to be able to complete the program we set ourselves at the beginning of the legislature. I want to respect all the commitments made. For this reason, maximum collaboration is necessary".

No response at the moment from the now former councilors: "I just received the decree - said the now former deputy mayor and former councilor for Urban Planning Antonio Melis -. I will read it carefully and then I will see whether to respond or not".

The "Vivere Maracalagaonis" council won the administrative elections with Francesca Fadda as candidate for mayor, Laura Perra, Valentina Pisu, Elio Ghironi, Salvatre Angioni and Maria Vincenza Putzu were also elected.

Minority councilor Gianluca Mudu is extremely critical : «Just a few days ago in the City Council the Mayor was talking about how united, good, efficient his majority is. Today with a decree accompanied by a long post on Facebook he tells a different story, characterized by internal feuds, immobility and irritation.
