The Higher Technician course for the management of tourist-accommodation facilities will begin by December , in the evening hours , and with a maximum number of 25 participants , presented on Monday afternoon, in the council hall of Arzachena, by the mayor Roberto Ragnedda , the councilor for Tourism Claudia Giagoni , the deputy mayor of Olbia and president of the Sabrina Serra Foundation, the vice president Salvo Manca , the manager of the Costa Smeralda hotel institute Antonello Pannella , the managers of Sardegna Resorts, Iti Hotels and Felix Hotels.

«A fundamental tool for those who want to interface with the world of tourism , a world that changes and in which the quality of the services offered must always increase», stated Mayor Ragnedda.

«A training course », Sabrina Serra specified, «which offers 1800 hours of study divided over two years with evening lessons , of which 600 hours of internships in hotels, restaurants and tour operators. It is aimed at young people looking for a professional opportunity, or adults who want to reinvent themselves. The only requirement is a diploma."

The course, added councilor Giagoni, «offers a great opportunity for the area and we are happy to host it. It is an extra piece that we are putting into our Arzachena Tourism Network project to create an active and operational network between public bodies, schools, companies and citizens for the development of the tourism sector."
