Junctions in place of at-grade intersections (in particular the one at Macomer-Mulargia), the adaptation of the specialized lanes of the existing junctions and the lighting, the creation of lay-bys and the closure of direct accesses: these are the objectives of the second lot of works delivered today by Anas for the elimination of the critical nodes of the State Road 131 in the section between km 108.300 and km 158, between the provinces of Oristano, Nuoro and Sassari.
The interventions foresee a total investment of over 113 million euros and, according to the timetable, will be completed in 840 days.
The works were entrusted to the temporary consortium of companies composed of “Impresa Pellegrini Srl” (agent), “Vitali Spa Società Benefit” (principal) and “Mascia Danilo Giuseppe Srl” (principal).
Particular attention and priority of implementation, Anas informs, «will be given to the construction of the new Macomer and Mulargia junction at km 149,000, much awaited by the territory».
The works, the note continues, "are part of a larger project aimed at improving the safety standards of a stretch of over 100 kilometers (between km 108 and km 209) through the construction of 6 new junctions and the safety of a further 21, as well as improving accessibility to the state road, through the closure of direct accesses and the adaptation of local roads".
