Anas has completed roadworks on the 131 "Carlo Felice" state road, covering a stretch of approximately three kilometers in Macomer. The total investment exceeded €4 million. The work involved the section between kilometer 142.700 and kilometer 145.800, on both lanes. The main works included complete roadway stabilization, the construction of a new surface and deep drainage system, and the restoration of existing crossings. Drainage channels, new side safety barriers, and state-of-the-art Anas NDBA central reservations were also installed to increase the safety of motorists and heavy vehicles.

Further work was carried out at kilometer 15.200, along the carriageway towards Sassari, by reinforcing the embankments with more resistant and long-lasting vibrated reinforced concrete retaining walls, in addition to the construction of hydraulic works for water management, the reconstruction of the superstructure and the installation of new lateral barriers.

On the opposite carriageway, between kilometer markers 149 and 151, a new road surface was also installed, complete with horizontal markings. The completion of these works has enabled the launch of further safety improvements, including the installation of over 10 kilometers of new central traffic barriers (between kilometer markers 143.500 and 154), three kilometers of which have already been completed. The investment in this case amounts to €6 million. The works are part of a broader plan by ANAS to modernize the stretch, which also includes the construction of the new Macomer/Mulargia interchange, currently under construction.
