The combination of the national sheep show and the agri-food show worked perfectly. The two-day event ends tonight with the awarding of prizes to the best Sardinian farms of the Sardinian breed sheep.

The best farm in the XII edition of the national sheep and agri-food exhibition, which took place in the exhibition area at the foot of Mount Sant'Antonio, belongs to the breeder from San Nicolo d'Arcidano, Mauro Scintu.

The jury, coordinated by Antonio Nurra, composed of Andrea Casula, Carlo Lampis, Nicola Mette, Arbirio Desogus and Giovanni Meles, also awarded the breeding of Renato Pitzalis of Nuragus and that of Antonello Frongia of Samugheo.

"Satisfied with the level achieved - says Battista Cualbu, regional president of Coldiretti and Assonapa - thanks to the great sacrifices of the breeders, who have guaranteed, once again, a great participation. On display there was a lot of quality and great attention, therefore the best of regional productions". A celebration in which the regional council did not participate.

"An important event for our territory - says the organizing councilor, Toto Listo - a celebration, experienced with many parliamentary friends and regional councilors, close to our territory, with Franco Scanu, president of the Union of Municipalities of Marghine. Too bad - says Toto Listo - for the evident absence of the regional institutions that, in fact, snubbed Macomer".

Representatives of the entire agri-food chain were satisfied. "Thanks to all the exhibitors - says Fabiana Cugusi, councilor for culture - thanks to the associations and thanks to thousands of visitors, who wanted to be present at this great celebration".
