All fifty exhibition stands were literally invaded by approximately 5 thousand visitors. An immense crowd invaded the exhibition area at the foot of Mount Sant'Antonio where the first regional exhibition of Sardinian sheep took place, with 16 farms and over 600 animals, all selected, without the contribution of the category.

An exhibition that returns to this area after years of oblivion, where, according to the municipal administrators, there was an attempt to remove this historic event from Macomer, which dates back approximately 120 years.

A great party and the first balance project the event, organized by the municipal administration with Laore and Pro Loco, into a less uncertain future. In fact, the absence of trade organizations was not felt, so much so that the mayor, Riccardo Uda, followed by the entire administration and the majority in the city council, wanted to carry out an experiment, first of all convincing the best Sardinian sheep farmers to participate unitedly in the event.

For the entire sector, Macomer is an important event, which was not just a showcase, but a great event linked to the work of livestock selection, which rewards the sacrifice of many farmers. Everyone worked at the Macomer fair and a lot of everything was sold. There is a lot of satisfaction among the operators in the sector and there is satisfaction above all among the organizers, the mayor, the entire majority in the city council, but also among those who have been waiting for this event for years now. The actual budget will be drawn up tomorrow, after the doors are closed.
