For the whole day, the large hall of the Centro Polivalente di Sertinu was invaded by over a thousand people, coming from all parts of the island, for the 26th edition of the Rassegna de S'Antunna and for the regional mycological exhibition, organized by the Pro Loco, the Esedra cooperative, with the municipal administration. On display were over 230 species of mushrooms, from russole to porcini, from amanita to lactario, from ramario to her majesty S'Antunna, always considered the queen of mushrooms. The collection was carried out in Marghine, Montiferru, Gallura, Ogliastra, Gennargentu, Dorgali and Monte Arci.

There is everything on display in the large hall of the multipurpose center: from local cheeses, to honey, knives, bread, sweets and much more . The works created by the children of the Soleanima cooperative stand out, but above all the tastings and the conference with various mayors, on the regional law proposals on spontaneous biodiversity, with particular reference to mycology and botany, coordinated by mycologists and naturalists Franco Sotgiu and Daniele Fois. "Not only an exhibition of mushrooms, but also tastings and therefore a great cultural event that places Macomer at the center of the Island: a great opportunity for the economy of Macomer and the territory", says Teresa Sulis, president of the Pro Loco.

The mayor, Riccardo Uda, adds: «Here we are aiming for cultural development, which is good for the economy. Together we grow» . Franco Sotgiu, mycologist and naturalist: «A review that grows year after year, becoming the only point of reference in Sardinia, therefore the most important mycological event. The main aim is a proposed law on mycology, which does not exist in Sardinia».

The visitors will be accompanied by the students of the Tourist course of the Technical Institute. «Great active participation of the schools and participation in the various excursions: with this event Macomer is truly the center of the Island», says Rossana Muroni of the Esedra cooperative.
