Another sacrilegious act was committed inside the parish church of San Francesco in Macomer .

Dog excrement was found in the stoup at the entrance to the church in the late afternoon on Saturday, probably poured into the water by someone who took advantage of the still open door, immediately after Saturday evening mass . It was the women engaged in the cleaning operations and therefore in the opening and closing of the same church who realized what had happened, through the work of the usual unknown persons.

They immediately proceeded to clean everything up and disinfect the stoup, leaving it empty even for Sunday Mass. No one thought to inform the forces of order about the incident and the parish priest himself, Father Mario Pesenti, preferred not to comment on what happened . Obviously, all this has created discontent among the faithful and now we are trying to understand who may have carried out these gestures. The same church, in fact, last February 2, had been targeted by vandals, who had committed a sacrilegious act, smearing the altar and the embroidered tablecloths with red and brown paint, damaging them irreparably.
