There was a full house for special occasions, with the large hall of the historic Costantino cinema filled to capacity. Great cinema then returns to Macomer, with Wish and Napoleon which opened the season last Sunday. The first was the animated film by Disney, which attracted children from all over the area, the other was the Colossal, "Napoleon", directed by Ridley Scott. The initiative is by Modis - Moderno Distribuzione, with which the Municipality of Macomer has signed an agreement. A cinema program, for the screening of two films every weekend, which will last until June.
Last Sunday was the first, but there are also many bookings for the next few months. The next appointment is for Sunday, with Paola Cortellesi's film, "There's Still Tomorrow". There is therefore great anticipation.
The manager will operate until June 30th, with the screening of films of artistic quality, including first-run films, both entertainment and author films and in any case of great cultural interest. Although the programming will take place on weekends, it is possible to expand the programming to other days as well.
«After reopening for the theatre, the Costantino cinema was also reopened for film programming - says the mayor Riccardo Uda - the first two screenings were well received, so much so that there was a full house. An activity that has interesting repercussions on the economy of our town. They are small things that act as a driving force for the economy, because the bars, restaurants and pizzerias fill up, but it is also a way to mend sociality in Macomer."
