Macabre discovery at Capo Testa: human remains on the beach of the Roman columns

The first tests on the human bones found on the beach of the Roman columns (known as Zia Colomba beach) in Capo Testa will be carried out tomorrow.

The discovery took place late Saturday afternoon, a swimmer noticed the bones near some bushes and informed the local police of Santa Teresa Gallura.

The very first checks carried out by a specialist confirmed the initial assessments: these are human remains. But only after further medico-legal investigations will it be possible to have some more information on the find.

The Carabinieri of the Santa Teresa station and the public prosecutor's office of Tempio have been informed.
