A six-month ban from business activities is the precautionary measure ordered by the Tempio District Judge, Federica Di Stefano, in the investigation into the alleged leak of information from the bankruptcy auctions (judicial liquidation) of the company "Pincioni Carni Srl" of Arzachena, declared with a ruling dated January 25, 2022.
The investigating judge signed an order addressed to Arzachena entrepreneurs Antonio and Domenico Pincioni, father and son . The requests of prosecutor Alessandro Bosco were granted.
According to the Tempio Pausania prosecutor's office, the two are responsible for conduct aimed at influencing the judicial auctions of their company's assets. The suspects' actions remain to be proven : "collusion, advance agreements, and fraudulent conduct."
The auction rigging allegedly consisted of behavior directed at potential buyers of land and a car garage in Arzachena (auctions scheduled for November 5, 2024, and January 14, 2025, for the sale of the LLC's land in Tempio Pausania and Arzachena).
Wiretapped telephone conversations appear to prove the alleged bid-rigging. The two entrepreneurs' lawyers, Ezia Orecchioni and Elias Vacca, are withholding comment pending the release of the documents.
Requests for precautionary measures (including arrests) were rejected for five other suspects (represented by lawyers Giovanni Azzena, Gerardo Giacu, and Domenico Putzolu), whose positions remain unclear. Preliminary Investigations Judge Di Stefano ruled out the existence of overwhelming evidence and unequivocal elements against any of the individuals involved.
