In an area like Planargia, already the scene of the fury of arsonists two years ago, the vast fire that broke out in the countryside of Sagama in the locality of Nuraghe Mulineddu has caused no small amount of concern today . To tame the flames there was a massive intervention by aircraft and men on the ground who practically had to work all day to get the better of the flames.

Two helicopters from the bases of Bosa and Anela were also used and carried out various operations to try to limit the damage. Two Super Pumas from the bases of Fenosu and Alà dei Sardi also worked. Two Canadairs from the base of Olbia also gave a hand.

The Bosa Forestry Corps officers coordinated the extinguishing actions and were still busy with clean-up operations until late in the evening to prevent the fire from spreading again, given the high temperatures.

It is worth highlighting the important help provided by the barracellari companies of the territory and by the many volunteers who made themselves available to give their contribution to the fire-fighting operations.
