It was a party last night in La Maddalena, starting at 21:30, with dozens and dozens of children flocking with their parents or relatives for the inauguration, in the Murticciola district, of the Inclusive Playground, an area of 1300 meters squares, hitherto degraded, not only made accessible to all autonomously, and therefore without architectural barriers, but which offers play structures such as to ensure fun and socialization for as many children as possible.

The mayor, Fabio Lai, cut the tricolor ribbon, flanked by the councilor for Youth Policies, Stefania Terrazzoni, who followed the works which lasted just over a year.

The intervention is part of a wider network of projects that the municipal administration has implemented and is implementing in La Maddalena, which last year obtained recognition as a Lilla Flag Municipality, from the removal of architectural barriers to interventions aimed at social inclusion.

«Inclusive gaming solutions – said Councilor Terrazzoni – are designed so that all users can play simultaneously and together, interacting as much as possible; and provide for common activities that offer stimuli of different degrees, according to everyone's abilities». Once the Park is done, it's time to manage it; and the municipal administration is looking for suitable solutions.
