From tomorrow, 20 February, a series of training sessions involving the use of explosives are scheduled in the waters of the North East of Gallura by the Navy Divers and Raiders Group (Comsubin).

The operations will continue until March 8th.

The Port Authority of La Maddalena provides information on this, having published two ordinances (n.16 and n.17). As regards the exercises with explosives, these will take place in the seas of Maddalena and Caprera, offshore, precisely at the points ALFA 41°19.597'N 009°27.119' E - BRAVO 41°11.500'N 009°33.069' E, in the time slot from 6am to 4pm.

Also from 20 February to 8 March there will also be, from 8am to 10pm, underwater and surface military training activities, with the use of inflatable boats, in the stretch of sea between La Maddalena-Punta Chiara, Le Saline, Cannigione, Monaci Islet.

Commander Emiliano Santocchini, who signs both ordinances, therefore orders, in the first case (exercises with explosives) that in the days from 20 February to 8 March, in the time slot from 6am to 4pm, navigation, parking, anchoring and any underwater and/or surface activity in general, for a radius of 1000 meters from the ALFA and BRAVO points.

In the second case, during the execution of the training activity and within the bodies of water affected by them, the following are prohibited: bathing; the transit, stationing and anchoring of any naval unit; fishing, diving and any recreational and/or professional activity in general.
