La Maddalena, 50 new houses to be assigned: 231 applications have been submitted
Hundreds of requests after the call published in 2020
In La Maddalena, in the Moneta area, the project by AREA (Regional Agency for Housing Construction) is about to be completed for a complex of 50 homes , 20 of which are public residential buildings to be assigned at a moderate rent, and 30, again public residential buildings, located on the ground floor, 1st and 2nd floors, to be assigned instead as a social rent. The calls for assignments date back to 2020.
In recent days, the municipal administration has made citizens aware that the Technical Commission has completed the checks relating to the submission of applications.
"A meticulous work that has occupied the offices for a long time and which I thank personally," said the managing director of Social Services, Adriano Greco.
«The provisional ranking was published on the praetorian register and on the website of the Municipality of La Maddalena for 30 days. At the end of this phase, the timing of which is dictated by law, the Technical Commission will formulate the final ranking. Subsequently - concludes Greco - it will be the task of AREA (owner of the lodgings) to proceed with the assignments of the same».
For the 20 apartments to be assigned at a moderate rent, according to the Municipal Determination, 60 applications were received, four of which were excluded "because they were received after the deadline or formally incomplete, not remedied even following a request for integration".
As regards instead the 30 apartments to be assigned social rent , still in the relevant Municipal Resolution it is stated that 171 applications were received, of which 20 were excluded "because they were received after the deadline or formally incomplete, not remedied even following a request for integration" . In total, 231 applications were received for 50 apartments.
It was in 2008 that the City Council of La Maddalena (Comiti Administrations) approved the assignment to AREA of an area of land located in Moneta, equal to 18,460 square meters, for the construction of 50 apartments, of which 30 to be assigned at social rent and 20 at a moderate fee.
Approximately 6,000 square meters of the total area assigned are to be used for roads and parking, 836 for public parking, 2,982 for public parks.
