A serious traffic accident occurred overnight on Provincial Road 15 to Ittiri, at kilometer marker 13+400, near the turnoff for Uri. Two cars, a Fiat Punto and a Lancia Ypsilon, collided head-on for reasons yet to be determined.

Four people were traveling in the vehicles, including a minor. Three people were injured: a woman, hospitalized with a critical prognosis, a man with multiple orthopedic injuries, and the girl, currently under observation in the pediatric ward.

The alarm was raised around 3:00 a.m. Firefighters from the provincial command responded to the scene, working under complex conditions to extract the injured from the wreckage. Emergency personnel from the 118 emergency service provided first aid and arranged for the patients to be transferred to the emergency room of the Santissima Annunziata hospital in Sassari. Carabinieri officers from the Alghero branch were also present, conducting surveys to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the accident.
