She goes to school intermittently, this is because the disabled bathroom has not been accessible since the beginning of the school year. But also because the collaborators do not trust to assist her in a normal bathroom, small to accommodate the wheelchair and two other people.

A sad story that a girl from Laconi, recently 18, confined to a wheelchair, is experiencing. Despite the law requiring public buildings to have bathroom areas for people with mobility difficulties, inside the school that the student attends, the Zappa Pitagora High School in Isili, this does not happen.

She decided to make the story of the girl's mother, Alessandra Fulghesu, public: "My daughter is usually assisted by an oss, as required by law. However, when this figure is missing from the school I am told that it is better for my daughter to stay at home. This is because the caretakers refuse to assist her, since the bathroom that can be used is small and not suitable for her. All this is serious, it is unfair", she continues. A school "cannot not have a bathroom for the disabled. The result is that my daughter often stays at home, with all her regret".

The school principal, Marco Saba: «Unfortunately the bathroom for the disabled has not been accessible for months because work is underway in that area of the school. For the girl we have made the bathroom in the gym available, which in reality needs some modifications. But without the approval of the province of South Sardinia, which we have asked to intervene, we cannot do anything».
