Movable and immovable assets, current accounts and financial investment instruments, for a value of about half a million euros , were seized by the Carabinieri of the Territorial Department of Olbia , with the support of the "Cacciatori di Sardegna" Airborne Squadron and two dog units of Abbasanta and the air support of a helicopter of the 10th Nucleo Helicopters of Olbia-Venafiorita, as part of the investigation called “Barber Shop” .

Under the spotlight of the investigations, coordinated by the Cagliari Anti-Mafia District Directorate and departed in February 2020, a criminal association specialized in the trafficking and dealing of cocaine .

As a measure of asset prevention of the seizure aimed at confiscation pursuant to the "Anti-Mafia Code" issued by the Court of Cagliari at the request of the DDA, the military has, in detail, sealed two houses, a plot of land of 2500 square meters, a garages, four cars, two motorcycles, two current accounts, two prepaid electronic payment cards and ten insurance policies attributable to six people of the same family , "in respect of which - the investigators explain - it was found that their value is disproportionate to the income declared and the economic activity carried out as well as the existence of evidence such as to allow us to believe that they are the result of the illegal activity or have constituted its re-employment ".

"The patrimonial investigations - continue the investigators - concern the period from February 2020 to April 2021 and arose from the results of the investigation conducted by the Operational Section (already from 2017) which revealed the existence of an association aimed at the trafficking of large quantities of cocaine , which imported from Campania and Lazio , while the others were in charge of the wholesale and retail sale which ended in February 2020 with the execution of a precautionary custody order for 16 people (15 in prison and 1 residence obligation), the arrest in the act of crime of 5 people as well as the seizure, overall, about 3 kg of cocaine, 300 grams of hashish and 100 grams of marijuana ".
