Meeting between the governor Christian Solinas and the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Matteo Salvini to develop an "extraordinary investment plan for Sardinia".
A face-to-face meeting with MIT which was also an opportunity to take stock of the situation on infrastructure and the need for investment on the island, starting with roads, railways and dams.
«In particular – explains a note -, the meeting served to obtain financing guarantees for the commissioned works: Salvini and Solinas are determined to untie the knot in the shortest possible time. Utmost priority for SS 291 (Sassari-Alghero) and SS 125-133bis (Olbia-Arzachena-Palau) which require funds of 232.3 million and 474.8 million respectively: the goal is to start the works shortly, with a further check for 30 million to cover the increase in prices and on which Salvini is personally committed".
Among other things, interventions were discussed such as the completion of the SS 195 (artery that connects Cagliari to the south-western coast, cost 43 million) and the safety measures of the SS 130 through the elimination of crossroads between Cagliari and Decimomannu.
