In Sardinia 24 fires broke out: helicopters in 10 locations, a Canadair in Luogosanto
The daily bulletin of fires in Sardinia24 fires broke out in Sardinia today, ten of the largest that required the intervention of the air vehicles of the regional fleet.
The largest developed in Luogosanto , where 10 hectares of wood and Mediterranean scrub went up in smoke. In addition to the firefighters and volunteers, three helicopters from the bases of Limbara, Alà dei Sardi and Anela and a Canadair departed from Olbia intervened.
Three helicopters from the bases of Bosa and Sorgono to put out the flames in Albagiara , one was enough in Uras where the extinguishing was coordinated by the staff of the Forestry Corps of Marrubiu.
Helicopters in action in Santadi and Nuraminis (three), while in the Carloforte countryside a large fire was tamed by the helicopter personnel coming from the Pula base.
Three helicopters intervened in Oschiri , two in the countryside of Orani . Other fires occurred in Usini , where the operations were coordinated by the personnel of the Ittiri Forestry Station, and in the countryside of Dolianova.
