In Olbia a stage of the Legambiente Città 2030 campaign

Olbia is also among the twenty stops chosen by Legambiente for the itinerant campaign Città 2030 - Come cambia la mobilità. Sponsored by the Municipality, the initiative, promoted by the Legambiente Gallura club, includes two events to raise awareness of the importance of sustainability in travel. Tomorrow, A scuola in bici, a walk pedaling with the students of the Isticadeddu middle school along the cycle paths of the area and, the following day, a ride on the paths that run along the seafront to Piazza Elena di Gallura where the objectives of the ecological transition will be illustrated, including cutting CO2 emissions and halving road victims, and the routes that the cities involved in the campaign have taken to achieve them.

Olbia is the first City 30 in Italy where, since 2021, the speed limit of thirty kilometers per hour has been in force throughout the urban area, the first Italian municipality to have equipped itself with an integrated cycling and pedestrian plan Biciplan and Pediplan, and the first in Sardinia to have established school streets.
