The tenth edition of the Bread and Tomato Festival is underway in Maracalagonis , which, inaugurated yesterday with the blessing of the parish priest Don Nicolò Praxolu, will end this evening offering many events with visits to the Museum "Prezioso Scrigno Le tre P", by Maria Tolu, the exhibition by Gigi Frigau, on the ancient costumes of Sinnai and a private collection at Casa Cocco.

Also worth admiring are the displays of traditional costumes from Maracalagonis, by the Nostra Sennor'e Itri association, and the display of ceramics, paintings and basketry by Rosetta Caredda.

Also worth a visit are the taste laboratories. And the preparation and tasting of "fregula", "su gattó and is "culixionis", prepared by the women of the Pro loco.

Today, from 10 to 11, there will be a tasting of "bruschette con pomodoro", accompanied by wines from Cantina di Quartu. In the evening, there will be many shows by the Sardinian Popular Orchestra, the Serpeddì choir, the Dance studio, the parish and many other initiatives. At the stands, bread, tomatoes and many other tasty products of the land.
