A new flurry of anti-poaching checks by the Forestry Corps Inspectorate of Cagliari led to two complaints and the seizure of dozens of game heads, along with illegal trapping tools.

In the Gutturu Mannu Regional Nature Park, staff from the Investigation Unit and Forest Station surprised a man while he was setting traps with steel cables to catch deer and wild boar. Twenty catching tools seized.

In the Monte dei Sette Fratelli area, the foresters of the Castiadas Station and the Investigative Unit surprised a man from Maracalagonis, already known to the police, while he was picking up some freshly caught thrushes from some nets.

13 networks were found and seized in the area. In the subsequent house search, 25 nets and 99 plucked and frozen thrushes were seized.
