Iglesias, cocaine and hashish at home: two drug dealers under arrest
A 39-year-old and a 35-year-old are in handcuffs
Two men, aged 39 and 35 , were arrested in Iglesias for the crimes of possession and production of drugs for the purpose of dealing .
Yesterday morning the policemen of the Anticrime Section and of the Flying Squad of the Commissariat of Iglesias carried out checks in the homes of the two , for which investigative activities had been underway for some time from which a flourishing drug dealing activity had emerged.
640 grams of cocaine , hidden and packaged in small cellophane wrappers, and 425 grams of hashish were found in the 39-year-old's home and car, subjected to house arrest.
Part of the drug was well hidden in the cavities of a car that the man had access to. In addition, the sum of 5,670 euros in cash was found and seized , as well as a precision slingbar and useful material for the packaging of the narcotic substance.
The search in the 35-year-old's home made it possible to find about 86 grams of cocaine and the cash sum of 2300 euros , as well as a precision slingbar. The policemen also found how the man kept the accounts and the management of the drug dealing activity by taking notes on sheets of paper, found during the check.
The narcotic substance, the money from the dealing activity, as well as all the material found were seized and placed at the disposal of the judicial authority .
At the end of the operations, in which the soldiers of the Guardia di Finanza collaborated with the dog unit, the two men were arrested and taken to prison in Uta .
