Homophobic attack on Poetto on gay pride day .

The victim was the Cagliari-born cosmetic surgeon Andrea Corona , who recounted the episode in a series of stories on his Instagram profile, also publishing a photo in which he is inside the 118 ambulance, which intervened on the Cagliari seafront to treat him.

The attack occurred outside Il Fico d'India . Andrea Corona was hit with kicks and punches: "I was also threatened with death, the attacker told me he was coming back with a knife" .

«Homophobia. When they ask me if it still exists in Italy this is the answer. An ordinary person attacks another and threatens them with death, this is homophobia, this is how you respect others, this is the way in which in Italy you are protected ", continues Corona, who also points the finger at the forces of the order. "They told me that the attacker is not here and they can't do anything."

Late at night, one last story in which Corona immortalizes his return home: «We ran away – he says –, we are returning home upset, for fear that this person with the knife could come and kill us . Let's reflect on what is happening, people and institutions must be made aware."
