Heat and fires: double alert in Sardinia over the weekend
The heat wave has granted a few days of respite, now the temperatures are rising again. "High" danger for fires
After a few days of respite, the weather alert returns for heat waves in Sardinia.
In Cagliari the level is orange.
The Ministry of Health has issued a new bulletin for health risks.
In the Sardinian capital, underlines the Municipality, we go from level 1 - Yellow Alert today and tomorrow to level 2 - Orange Alert for Sunday 30 July.
In the Cagliari area, the temperatures forecast for Sunday will be between 25°C and 35°C with a maximum perceived temperature of 37°C.
But there is also alarm for fires: from the Civil Protection warning of "high danger" for Saturday 29 July throughout the central internal strip of Sardinia, from Logudoro to Campidano in Cagliari.
Meanwhile, the latest Forestry Corps bulletin records eight fires, two of which were extinguished also with the help of helicopters in Sardara and Villasor.
