Healthcare, here are the Sardinian hospitals with the highest quality standards

Very high – High – Medium – Low – Very low.

These are the levels of adherence to the quality standards contemplated by the "National Results Program" of Agenas, the National Agency for Health Services, to evaluate Italian health structures, in each area of specialization.

The new report has been released these days.

Here are the results, relating to the clinical areas proportional to the volumes of activity, obtained by the hospitals of Sardinia.

• As far as general surgery is concerned, the following have obtained the Very high level, indicated in dark green colour : the Policlinico Sassarese of Sassari, the Mater Olbia of Olbia, the Madonna del Rimedio of Oristano, the Nostra Signora della Mercede of Lanusei, the Kinetika Sardegna of Quartu Sant'Elena.
• As far as the cardiovascular area is concerned, the Very high level was reached by Nostra Signora della Mercede in Lanusei, San Martino in Oristano, the Policlinico in Monserrato and the Civil Hospital in Alghero.
• As regards the Nervous area, the Very high level was assigned to the Sirai of Carbonia, to the San Pietro Clinics of Sassari, to the San Michele of Cagliari.
• In the musculoskeletal area, the Santissima Annunziata of Sassari obtained it very high.
• Finally, as regards oncological surgery, the Very high level was assigned to Kinetica Sardegna of Quartu Sant'Elena.

On the other hand, here are the structures evaluated, always in relation to the clinical areas proportional to the volumes of activity, as less adherent to the quality standards.

• As far as general surgery is concerned, the following have obtained the Very low level, indicated in red: the Civil Hospital of Ozieri, the John Paul II of Olbia, the Santissima Trinità of Cagliari, the Sirai of Carbonia, the San Pietro Clinics of Sassari , Our Lady of Bonaria of San Gavino Monreale, the Civil Hospital of Alghero and the Hospital of Iglesias.
• In the musculoskeletal area level of adherence to quality standards Very low at Nostra Signora di Bonaria, at Sirai di Carbonia, at the Civil Hospital of Sassari, at the Policlinico di Monserrato, at San Martino di Oristano, at Marino di Cagliari, at San Michele di Cagliari.
• In the Nervous area, the Very Low level is assigned to San Martino di Oristano
• In the Respiratory area "red" level for the Nostra Signora di Bonaria of San Gavino Monreale.
