Head-on collision on the Sassari-Ittiri road: both drivers injured

Two people were injured in the head-on collision between two cars on the road from Sassari to Ittiri.

In the crash, at dawn this morning, a 42-year-old woman, originally from Sassari, and a 55-year-old from Uri were involved. The accident occurred shortly after 7 am when, due to reasons yet to be established, the two cars traveling on the road in opposite directions collided.

Two 118 ambulances intervened on the spot: the impact was violent and both drivers needed emergency transport to the Santissima Annunziata civil hospital in Sassari. Kept under observation, their conditions would not appear serious, but the doctors have arranged a series of clinical tests.
