Terrible accident this morning in Olbia, on the Panoramic Road near the Giovanni Paolo II hospital junction .

Around 8am, two cars, a Smart and a Ford Focus, collided head-on due to a lane invasion, the causes of which are still being ascertained: the impact was very violent, four people were injured, some seriously , and were transported to the hospital in Olbia by as many 118 ambulances: three red codes and one orange .

The Olbia firefighters were also on site, using shears and spreaders to extract two people trapped inside the vehicle .

The traffic police took care of the investigation, the road was closed for about an hour and very long queues formed.
