He pays for an apartment in Costa Rei, but the fake broker disappears with the money

Pretending to be the intermediary of a real estate agency in Costa Rei, he had received 2,500 euros from a 61-year-old from Portoscuso for the rent and security deposit of an apartment in the summer, located in the seaside resort. But then it was gone and only the photos of that beautiful house remained.

The carabinieri of Carloforte investigated the case and, going back to the path followed by the money, they identified a 31-year-old author of the scam, who was denounced on the loose.
