He landed in Olbia with over 900 grams of cocaine ingested and therefore hidden inside his body.
A 36-year-old Nigerian resident in the Pisan area was arrested following checks at the Isola Bianca port.
He disembarked from a motor ship coming from Livorno, the attention of the drug dogs Semia, Betty and Ether immediately focused on him. The soldiers of the Guardia di Finanza asked him about the reason for the trip and the place of destination: in the face of the man's conflicting statements, they decided to search him, without finding anything.
The man, however, was very agitated and the dogs hardly make mistakes, so the military decided to take the man to the Giovanni Paolo II hospital in Olbia , where radiographic tests showed the presence of 68 cocaine eggs for a total of 931 grams .
The drug, once expelled from the body, was seized. The Nigerian ended up in his cell on drug trafficking charges.
