He allegedly hit a cyclist on state highway 293, then drove away without providing assistance . For this reason , the Carabinieri of the Vallermosa station reported a 51-year-old man, a resident of Musei and already known to law enforcement, for minor personal injury and failure to render aid.

The incident dates back to July 29th : according to the reconstruction, the man, driving a Volkswagen Golf, struck a 56-year-old man from Uta who was riding his bicycle on the same road. After the collision, the cyclist suffered minor injuries, but the driver fled the scene without stopping.

The investigation , launched following the victim's complaint, led to the identification of the alleged perpetrator through analysis of surveillance camera footage installed along the stretch of road and testimony collected by the officers. Following the investigation, the man was reported to the competent judicial authorities.
