In Cagliari, at the end of a series of investigations and an intervention on the road, the carabinieri of the Stampace station reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Cagliari for the crime of driving without a license, with recidivism, a twenty-eight year old from Assemini, unemployed with previous charges against him.

The young man had caused an accident, without injuries, last March 4 in Elmas at km 6 + 120 of the state road 130, direction Cagliari Iglesias. The military had ascertained that, aboard a BMW owned by him, he had lost control of the vehicle by going off the road without involving other cars.

Also present in the car was a 37-year-old from Assemini, unemployed and known to the police. Immediate breath tests, carried out by the military of the Radiomobile Section of the Cagliari Company, defined the driver's positivity for an alcohol level of 1.61 grams per liter. The boy also drove without a license since he never obtained it, and for this he had already been sanctioned in the previous two years.

The vehicle had been placed under administrative seizure for the purposes of confiscation. The driver was also found in possession of 2.47 grams of marijuana, seized.
