A 59-year-old man who disappeared in Nuoro on May 28 was tracked down in Ancona by the police following a report from Sardinia by the police.

This was announced by the Ancona Police Headquarters: the police intervened inside a bank branch, in Corso Stamira, and found the presence of the man whose traces had been lost days ago.

When the officers arrived, the 59-year-old appeared confused, staring into space and looking neglected, although in apparent good health.

The police reassured him and asked him to account for his presence in Ancona. The man reported that he had come to visit his partner, but he did not remember her name or address.

Given the situation, the police accompanied him to the police station, reassured him, at the same time alerting medical personnel who then proceeded to transfer the 59-year-old to the Torrette regional hospital for all the necessary treatment.
