Guasila, elderly couple hit by a car while crossing the street: red code

Hit by a car while crossing the street in Guasila , two elderly people (a man and a woman) were rescued by 118 personnel and taken to the hospital with a red code . The accident occurred in the early afternoon on Via Guamaggiore.

The one who caused the greatest concern was the elderly woman , due to a serious facial trauma : she was taken to Brotzu in Cagliari while the man was taken to Santissima Trinità .

Their lives are not thought to be in danger , but given their age, they are being closely monitored by medical personnel . Law enforcement officers are on site to conduct assessments.
