The goal is to relaunch the industrial and artisan area of Guamaggiore.

The municipal administration used funds from the Lavoras employment project (these are regional funding) to refurbish the area for productive settlements on the outskirts of the town, on the road that leads from the town to Selegas.

In particular, two qualified workers were hired to complete the works aimed at the arrangement of the entire area intended for the opening of new entrepreneurial activities. "We are laying the foundations for the relaunch of small and medium-sized enterprises - said Mayor Nello Cappai -, we aim to encourage employment also through policies aimed at supporting the local economic fabric".

The mayor first explained to the council and then to the city council the various initiatives that will be activated to ensure the enhancement of the plan for productive settlements (Pip). The council assembly then approved the ambitious project aimed at revitalizing the industrial area, open to new investments. The companies that have acquired the lots in the Pip area of Guamaggiore will have four years to start their activities, once the terms have expired the Municipality will be able to reassign the empty spaces. "This is also a way to reward entrepreneurs who really intend to invest in our country", underlines Cappai.
