The search for Giuseppe and Lorenzo Deiana, the two brothers from Olbia aged 24 and 20 who were missing at sea yesterday , was interrupted with the arrival of the evening. They will resume tomorrow morning, Monday 21 April, with the divers of the Fire Brigade and the Coast Guard.
Concern is growing for the fate of the two boys, who have not been heard from since yesterday at 4:40 p.m., when their phone connections disappeared. The young men had gone out in the morning for a fishing trip aboard a small fiberglass boat.
Late in the evening, the partner of one of the two raised the alarm and a massive search operation was activated, coordinated by the Coast Guard, Captain Paolo Bianca . A helicopter and patrol boats were deployed, which searched the coast inch by inch, and the fire brigade also intervened.
The search is concentrated in the Capo Figari area , in the hope that the two brothers have found shelter in a protected bay. But the more time passes, the more apprehension grows, also in light of some traces of the boys found around midday: a backpack, boots, a net for preserving caught fish . Backpack and boots found off Capo Figari, other traces instead in Cala Spada, Golfo Aranci.
