Terrifying accident yesterday afternoon on the main road of Giba: a car making a left turn was hit by a high-powered motorbike coming from the opposite direction and after the impact – very violent – it flew out of control, running over four 13-year-old girls who were nearby.

One, hit in the head, was taken by ambulance to the Brotzu hospital in Cagliari: she remained conscious during the rescue but her condition must be kept under observation.

The other three girls, as well as the motorcyclist, were taken to the Sirai hospital in Carbonia. Fortunately, the driver of the car, an elderly man from Giba, was unharmed.
