Gal Anglona Coros: All set for the local tourism exchange
The appointment is from 16th to 19th SeptemberTwelve tour operators from all over Europe are ready to experience a “famtrip”. A tour-visit, offered free of charge to tour operators with the aim of promoting the destination “Anglona Coros Terre che rigenerano”, promoted by Gal and more generally the tourist offer of the territory.
It will start on September 16th and end on the 19th in Ploaghe where the local tourism exchange will take place with the network operators who will be able to sell their tourism products to tour operators in view of the next season. This is one of the last phases of the An.Co.RA (Anglona Coros Ruralità e Ambiente) project which has systematized the integrated tourism offer starting from local tourist attractions (environment, culture, history, traditions, food and wine) and aims to realize the work done in the last two years, where Gal and stakeholders have talked to form the #Network, signed a specification to align the quality standard of the tourism offer and today they are going straight to the goal: to build a tourist destination in the territory of Coros and Anglona based on slow and regenerating tourism.
"An important participatory process - says Simone Campus, director of the Gal - which with the Blt closes a process made of study, comparison, dialogue that has given companies the opportunity to listen to each other and establish working relationships, but certainly also human ones, where everyone aims at a common goal: to enhance their services, to grow their company but more generally the territory".
More than thirty operators will be involved in the “site inspection” : agritourism companies, sites of cultural and naturalistic interest, accommodation facilities, operators of outdoor tourism services, who have signed a collaboration agreement under the aegis of the “Terre che rigenerano” brand.
The tour operators will be accompanied by the organization by Menti Vaganti, on a journey to discover the identity of the places: knowledge, flavors, secrets that will be told to those of Sardinia who want to discover an alternative vacation, which is not the sea and is not exclusively in the summer months.

Tour operators come from Italy (Piedmont, Lazio and Tuscany), the Czech Republic, Holland, Austria, England and Spain in line with the targets established in the Destination Plan.
