The regional council led by Alessandra Todde has distributed over 4 million euros to the municipalities most burdened by military servitude.

The resources, for the 2023 financial year, are intended for the construction of public works and social services, in four macro-areas, namely: La Maddalena, Capo Frasca Polygon - Decimomannu Airport, Salto di Quirra Polygon - Capo San Lorenzo, Cape Teulada shooting range.

According to the Region, these are "funds that have more than doubled given that the approximately 4 million euros are allocated for 2023 while previously they were approximately 5 million, but valid for a three-year period, therefore approximately 1.7 million per year. So for the year 2023 there are over 4 million for a single year."

The parameters for quantifying the contributions to be paid are established on the basis of the days/year of use of the shooting ranges, clearing areas, military easements, surface area of the shooting ranges, days/year of use of the training areas for non-specific activities. in fire, surfaces used for training areas for non-fire activities and financial contributions (salaries of military and civilian personnel).
