On site - in via dei Pioppi - two emergency fire brigade teams intervened, with a fire engine, a tank truck and an off-road vehicle equipped with a fire-fighting module.
The men of 115 rescued the man - 69 years old - entrusting him to the care of the 118 staff, then they proceeded to extinguish the fire, also securing a LPG cylinder and an oxygen cylinder.
At the end of the extinguishing operations, the firefighters themselves began investigations to establish the causes.
