Heavy rains, no physical consequences, but numerous calls for assistance arrived at the Nuoro fire department switchboard between yesterday afternoon and this morning.
Teams are working around the clock to address damage caused by the severe weather that has hit the entire province: approximately 70 interventions have been carried out since yesterday evening.
The Baronia area, including Posada, Siniscola, Budoni, and San Teodoro, was particularly affected, as was Ogliastra, particularly Tortolì and Lanusei.
Approximately 35 firefighters, accompanied by 12 fire engines and technical equipment, responded to the area this afternoon to deal with flooded roads, unsafe trees, structural damage, landslides, flooded cellars, homes, and accommodations, and to rescue people. Several roads were closed.
